Rougemont

GUIMOND:

Mike and Derrise Guimond came to live in Rougemont in the early's 1970's. Derrise is the first woman to be chosen as warden at St.Thomas' Church. They have a son Christopher.

FERRIS:

Marjorie Ferris came to live in Rougemont in the early 1940's with her parents. She was employed as secretary at the military base in St.Hubert and since her retirement enjoys the beauty and nature of the country around Rougemont.

MATHESON:

Ian Matheson has lived in the parsonage since 1986 and his efforts in landscaping the grounds are noticed and appreciated.

SZOKE:

Steve Szoke and Colette have lived in the village for two years. Steve's talents as a landscape artist are known ; Colette designed the banner in the church commemorating the 150th anniversary.

WEIR:

Larry Weir was born in Rougemont. His parents, Donald and Peggy came from Alexandria to work for Colonel Morissey. Larry looks after the upkeep of the cemetery.

SIMPSON:

Dave and Judy Simpson have lived in Rougemont for three years. Dave works for the National Film Board and Judy teaches school in Montreal. They have a daughter, Jennifer.

MAYNARD:

The Maynard family came to Rougemont three years ago. Robert drives a truck for Robert Transport. Debbie decorates cakes and is preparing the cake for the church anniversary. They have three sons, John, Steven and Marc.

We have tried to mention those families who live in Rougemont and support the work of St.Thomas' Anglican Church but we are also grateful for the help and support from former parishioners and residents who are friends of the church.
